IgAnony is a website people use to watch public Instagram stories without being seen. If you want the same anonymous story viewing plus the rest of a profile, such as posts, reels and comments, an IgAnony alternative like IGWatcher puts it all on one page. Is IGWatcher run by the IgAnony team?
No. IGWatcher is an independent tool with its own servers, and IGWatcher is not affiliated with IgAnony. It isn't connected to Instagram or Meta either.
Is IgAnony down or not working?
When we checked on September 30, 2026, iganony.net was online and loading. Some similar-looking domains didn't respond when we tried them, so make sure you typed the right address. If the site still won't open for you, IGWatcher works as a backup.
Is IgAnony safe?
Only IgAnony can answer for IgAnony. The site says it works with public profiles and doesn't require a login. Whatever viewer you pick, never type in your Instagram password, and be wary of pages that ask you to install apps or complete surveys to see content.
Is there an IgAnony private account viewer?
No. IgAnony's FAQ says it can only show public profiles, and IGWatcher is the same. People often search for a private account viewer, but Instagram shows private stories and posts only to approved followers, and sites that claim otherwise are best avoided.
Can the account owner see me in their story viewers?
No. You don't log in to Instagram on IGWatcher, so your name isn't added to the viewer list and the account owner isn't notified.
Can I save a story to my phone?
Yes. Open the story, then use the download button to save the photo or video. Posts and reels can be saved the same way, on a phone or a computer.
How long can I watch a story?
Instagram keeps a story up for 24 hours after it's posted. Once that window closes, it drops out of the account's stories, so check back within the day if you don't want to miss one.
Does IGWatcher need my Instagram login?
No. IGWatcher runs in your browser on phone or desktop. You don't sign up, you don't log in to Instagram and there's nothing to install.
What does IGWatcher cost?
Nothing. Everything on the site is free, with no paid tier and no registration.
What if a public profile won't open?
Check the spelling of the username and whether the account is really public. If both are fine, Instagram may not have returned that section on the first request, so give it a moment and try again.
