What you can do with IGWatcher
Open any public Instagram profile anonymously, with no login and no sign-up form.
Save photos, videos, reels and stories in the best quality Instagram makes available.
Watch what the account posted in the last 24 hours without landing in anyone's viewer list.
Scroll the full post grid, including carousels with several photos or videos.
Watch a profile's reels together and download the ones you want to keep.
Read the comment threads under public posts and reels.
See the avatar at full size, not as the small circle from the app.
Accounts looked up on two or more days get a Statistics tab with their follower trend.
Why choose IGWatcher
Everything about an account sits in tabs, so you don't jump between separate tools.
You never type an Instagram password, and the person you view gets no notification.
Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge, on iPhone, Android, Mac or Windows.
No app and no browser extension to add now or remove later.
Public accounts only. If Instagram doesn't return a tab right away, try it again shortly.
IGWatcher is an independent service and is not affiliated with Imginn or Instagram.

What is Imginn, and why try something else?
Imginn is a popular web tool for viewing and downloading public Instagram content without an account. It's still running as of September 2026, so an Imginn alternative is less about replacing it and more about having a second option: another way to browse a profile, or a backup when one site is slow on your network. IGWatcher is a free alternative that works right in your browser, with no login, no app and nothing tied to your own Instagram.
Enter a public username or profile link and IGWatcher loads the account's stories, posts and reels. From there you can read comments, see the profile picture at full size and download photos, videos, reels and stories. If the account has been looked up on at least two different days, a Statistics tab charts its followers. It only works with public accounts. IGWatcher is not affiliated with Imginn, Instagram or Meta.
How to switch from Imginn to IGWatcher
If you've searched a profile on Imginn, you already know the drill. Enter a public Instagram username at the top of this page and the profile loads with separate tabs for stories, posts and reels. Tap a post to read its comments, or press the download button on any photo or video to save it. Instagram occasionally skips a section on the first request, so when a tab stays blank, give it a minute and open it again.

Frequently asked questions
What is Imginn?
Imginn is a third-party website for viewing and downloading public Instagram content without logging in. It isn't run by Instagram. IGWatcher is a separate tool with a similar purpose, and IGWatcher is not affiliated with Imginn.
Is Imginn down?
Not when we last looked: on September 30, 2026, imginn.com was online and loading. A site like this can still fail for one visitor because of a network filter, an ad blocker or a brief outage. If that happens to you, IGWatcher works as a second option.
Is Imginn safe?
We can't speak for a service we don't operate. Imginn says it doesn't need your Instagram login. With any viewer, a few rules keep you safe: never enter your Instagram password, close pop-ups that want you to install something, and download only the files you came for.
Is Imginn anonymous, and is IGWatcher?
Tools like these don't use your Instagram account, so you won't show up in a story's viewer list. With IGWatcher, requests go through our servers and the account owner gets no notification that you looked.
Does Imginn show private profiles?
No. Imginn's own FAQ says it only displays public profiles, and IGWatcher works the same way. Private posts and stories are visible only to approved followers, and no honest tool can get around that.
Are there other sites like Imginn?
Yes, several web viewers show public Instagram content without a login. IGWatcher is one of them, with stories, posts, reels, comments and downloads on one profile page, free of charge.
How do I download from IGWatcher?
Search a public username, open the photo, video, reel or story you want and press the download button. The file saves straight to your phone or computer.
Is there a browser extension to install?
No. IGWatcher runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet or desktop. There's no extension, no app and no account to create.
Is IGWatcher free?
Yes. There's no paid plan, no sign-up and no email required.
Why is a profile or tab not loading?
Double-check the username and make sure the account is public, since private profiles can't be opened. Instagram also doesn't always return every section on the first try, so wait a moment and open the tab again.
